Good Afternoon,
For all who are fasting and praying for the last eight days, I hope your time has been refreshing and a blessing.  The end is in sight so keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. May our Lord strengthen and keep you as we approach the end of our fast.

In the book of Joel, Chapter 1, verse 14 we read the following;

“Consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly; gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the Lord your God, and cry out to the Lord.’

Then in Chapter 2, verse 19, it says:
“Yes, the Lord will answer.”

God, in all His Sovereignty, has established that when we fast and pray He is committed to hear and to answer.

Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”

Our part is to pray, fast and seek His face. He will respond, and when He does we may be blown away by the abundance of His blessings!

On Saturday, January 12, I am asking that ALL MEMBERS join us for a day of prayer and fasting. We will meet in the sanctuary at 3:00 PM, have 30 minutes of worship and then move to the library for our time of prayer

C.H. Spurgeon said, “Whenever God determines to do great work, He first sets His people to pray!”
