It hurts to lose someone. Find help at GriefShare.
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. You don't have to go through the grieving process alone.
How GriefShare works:
GriefShare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You'll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life.
It will meet weekly on Tuesdays for 13 weeks, guiding you along your grief journey. Each session consists of a video seminar, led by leading grief recovery experts; a support group made up of other people also grieving the loss of a loved one or friend discussing the weekly video and the GriefShare workbook with journaling and daily personal study exercises that reinforce the weekly session topics.
If you have suffered the loss of a loved one or friend we invite you to join us on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm, and we will walk with you on the long path through grief toward healing and hope for the future. For more information, please email Becky Heacock at firstname.lastname@example.org or come join us.
Every Saturday, FLC holds a drive-up food pantry. We provide each individual/family three meals a day (including snacks) for a week. The hours of operation are 11:00 am-2:00 pm.
We are asking our church community to help where you can. If you have access to resources such as packing boxes, grocery bags, and food items, please let us know. We are looking for a few individuals to do the shopping, others to box up the groceries for families, and lastly, we need help on Saturday distributing the packages. If you cannot do any of the above but would like to contribute financially, please click here.
Please sign up for the Saturday that you are able to help and which area you are interested in helping.
Thank you for your willingness to serve.
