Mark has been a member of Faith for about 18 years. He was President-elect and President about 10 years ago, just before Pastor Ebassa’s arrival. Currently Mark is active in a Bible study for the past 3 or 4 years, for several wonderful men of Faith. Mark gained his bible learning by attending a Baptist church in Pennsylvania until he was 18 years old. Mark learned about the power and value of small groups when he attended South Presbyterian Fellowship where he was discipled in how to lead a small group. As an extension of Mark's small group experience he led two groups of short term missions to help with the construction of a protestant seminary in Vaux sur Siene, and Storchenson France.

In preparation for these mission trips, Mark studied French with Elizabeth Pfister, a missionary to China where she taught English as a second language. Mark married Elizabeth in 1988 and they have three children, Colin, Allison, and Megan who are all in California.
